Frequently Asked Questions

Who has therapy?

Ordinary people come for therapy, life can be difficult, we can all feel overwhelmed at times or need someone to talk to without fear of judgement. It may be one specific issue that is bothering you or an accumulation of different issues. It may even be a general feeling of unease or unhappiness that you are unable to explain the cause of. Many of us have not been taught the necessary tools to deal with life's challenges or our emotions effectively or we simply do not have anyone to talk to about them. That's where I can help you.

What are the expected outcomes?

Everyone is different and comes seeking different outcomes but overall therapy creates a space to offload, work though any issues you may be facing, gain coping strategies and tools and a greater sense of self-awareness. This results in a greater knowledge of who you are and what you want and don't want in your life. Although the first step can be the hardest, it can also be the first step towards freeing yourself and becoming the person you want to be.
